EXTRATIME PLASTER RETARDER
Extratime is a chemical additive for use with finishing plasters. The additive slows the curing process of the plaster by slowing the chemical crystal formation that causes the gypsum plaster to set or harden. Extratime is recommended for moderate lenthening of finishing plaster setting times. Extratime will lengthen the setting time by 30-60 minutes depending on the ambient temperature, relative humidity of the environment and the surface being plastered.
Extratime has been developed by a plasterer with over 20 years experience in the trade to allow more time to complete larger areas. It is ideal for ceilings and large walls.
"After years of being under pressure when working on large ceilings and walls I thought there must be some way of making the job easier. I set out to develop something that was easy to use, inexpensive and provided a little more time - The result was Extratime" M Shepherd, Founder, Eazymix Ltd.
Extratime can be used with all finishing plasters. It helps make plastering easier especially when working on large areas or in hot weather. It simply takes the pressure off.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING
"I used Extratime on a large plasterboard celing. I even managed on a set of ladders instead of trestle and planking the whole room. It does what it is supposed to. Great product and I will be using it again on my next job."
Mark Archer, Plasterer, Lancashire
"When using Extratime I have found I can cover a lot more area. Normally I would have to pay a second man to help spread, but now I can do it on my own, saving another days wage, Fantastic."
Paul Eastham, Plasterer, Lytham St. Annes
"Over the years I've done small bits of plastering around the home. I've always found I am not quick enough and the plaster sets before I have finished. I recently tried Extratime and it helped massively, giving me more time to do a decent job"
Steve Shackleton, DIYer, Colne
WHAT THE TRADE PRESS ARE SAYING
National Association of Plastering Lecturers
"The trade will find a massive use for this plaster retarder. Huge warehouse walls would usually have to be done in two hits as its impossible to get huge amounts of plaster laid on and floated without quite a few guys. Now a single plasterer can cover a greater area giving him plenty of time to come back and float up."
